All-New Horse Trailer Lighting
Our sincere THANK YOU to Crossfire Trailer Service for the outstanding transformation of lighting on our rescue trailer! Our 1987 Sooner trailer is well built and works great for all we do. However, the lightbulbs were way outdated when it comes to safety. It started two years ago with a serious wildfire in our area. We were called to help evac animals that were in the path of the fire. As we parked with the fire department personnel, it was mentioned that our trailer lights couldn't be seen in the thick smoke.
Once owner Robert, and manager DJ, learned of our community service to Veterans and the care we offer to our rescue animals, they were onboard for a transformation!
Here’s a list of modifications and updates:
All new LED lighting replaced stock taillights, rooftop clearance plus additional clearance for running, forward facing overhead, new interior livestock area white LED, and red LED to see animals at night via remote camera, outside floodlights, tack room white LEDs, emergency amber strobes between roof lights, blue and white lower strobes, and a white and amber light bar above the back door! The 1987 wiring was worn out, so almost a completely new rewire for all of these updates!
